Level Up Your Billing: Vendaly's Brand New Invoicing is Here

We know that running your own business means wearing a million different hats. Whether you’re a food truck slinging the best tacos in town or a high-end photographer capturing perfect moments, getting paid quickly and looking professional should be the least of your worries.

That’s why today, we’re super excited to announce Vendaly’s brand new invoicing system, built specifically with you—our vendors—in mind. We’ve built heaps of powerful features from the ground up that give you complete control over your billing, keep your clients happy, and make your day-to-day operations a breeze.

Here’s a deep dive into what’s new, and exactly how you can start using these features today!

1. Your Custom Payment Information, Front and Centre

In the past, communicating exactly how you wanted to get paid could involve some back-and-forth emails. Not anymore! We’ve introduced a dedicated Payment Information section right inside your Business Profile.

Whatever you put in here will be automatically printed right at the bottom of every PDF invoice you generate for an event.

How to use it:

  1. Head over to the My Businesses tab in your dashboard.
  2. Click the Edit button on your business profile.
  3. You’ll spot a brand new tab called Payment Information. Click it!
  4. Fill in your Legal Business Name and your ABN.
  5. In the Payment & Bank Details box, drop in exactly how clients should pay you. Most vendors add their BSB, Account Number, and Account Name here, but you can also include payment instructions for other platforms if you prefer.
  6. Hit Save changes, and you’re done! Your next invoice will look like a million bucks.

2. Dedicated Event Invoice Tracking

If you’re managing multiple invoices for an event, clarity is everything. We’ve built a dedicated invoice list view right on your event pages to give you all the context you need at a single glance.

What you get in the list:

  • Last Updated Timestamps: You’ll now see exactly when an invoice changed status. Wondering when you actually marked that invoice as Sent? The exact date and time are right there.
  • Due Dates: Keep track of upcoming payment deadlines without having to open the PDF.
  • Clearer Layouts: Everything is spaced out better, so you can easily scan through amounts, statuses, and descriptions.

3. A Buttery-Smooth Interface

Ever clicked a “Send” button twice because you weren’t sure if it worked the first time? We’ve all been there.

To make your experience clear and easy, we’ve added smart loading to all your invoice actions. Whether you’re sending a brand new draft, updating a status from Pending to Paid, or resending an invoice to a forgetful client, the button will now show a sleek loading animation and temporarily lock.

What this means for you:

You get instant visual feedback that Vendaly is working hard in the background, completely eliminating the risk of accidentally double-sending an invoice. It’s a small detail, but it makes managing your billing feel incredibly smooth and reliable.

4. Coming Soon

On the way is a new view to see all your invoices across all events in one place. This will make it easy to understand all your invoices, which ones have been paid and which ones are outstanding.
