Vendaly 2.12 release notes: Cleaner schedules, smoother workflows, and account control

Welcome back to another Vendaly update! We’ve been listening to your feedback and working hard to bring you version 2.12. This release is packed with highly requested tools to help you manage your schedule more effectively, alongside some critical behind-the-scenes tune-ups to make your day-to-day experience as smooth as possible.
Let’s dive right into what’s new.
1. Complete Control Over Your Schedule
We know that a vendor’s calendar changes by the minute. To keep you organised, we’ve made some big improvements to how you interact with your upcoming jobs and pending enquiries.
Delete Manual Events
In our last update, we gave you the ability to edit manually added jobs. Now, we’re taking it a step further. If a manually added event gets cancelled, moved, or simply doesn’t pan out, you can now explicitly delete it right from your schedule. Say goodbye to cluttered calendars and hello to a perfectly accurate view of your upcoming work.
Custom Decline Reasons
Sometimes an event just isn’t the right fit. When declining an event enquiry, you can now provide a custom refusal reason. To help you keep track of these decisions, we’ve also added a dedicated “Declined” tab in your events table. This makes it easy to review previously declined events and see exactly why you turned them down, helping you spot trends in your enquiries over time.

Enquiries Cleanup
To keep your dashboard feeling fresh and relevant, we’ve updated how your enquiry list works. We will no longer show past events or expired invitations. This means you don’t have to sift through old data or worry about accidentally accepting an event that has already happened. Your list only shows what actually needs your attention.
Smoother Acceptance Workflow
We know every click counts when you’re busy. Now, the moment you accept an event enquiry, Vendaly will automatically navigate you straight to your “My Schedule” page. Instead of lingering on the enquiries tab, you’re instantly back to managing your workload.
2. Better Management on the Go
Whether you’re in the truck or at a venue, managing your business from your phone needs to be seamless.
Improved Mobile Experience
We’ve improved responsiveness across the board. The header on the “Vendor Events” page now stacks beautifully on smaller screens, making it much easier to read at a glance. Plus, we’ve added a helpful notice on the mobile “Manage Events” tab to point you toward the best viewing experience when you’re away from your desktop.
3. Account & Subscription Clarity
We want your experience with Vendaly to be transparent, from the moment you sign up to how you manage your data.
Delete Business Account
We believe you should have total control over your information. If you ever need to close up shop or start fresh, you now have the ability to permanently delete your business account directly from your settings. Doing so will securely clean up all associated data, files, and assets from our systems.
Streamlined Subscription Trials
Exploring everything Vendaly has to offer should be a breeze. Users on a free trial are now properly recognised by our system right alongside fully active subscriptions. This ensures continuous, uninterrupted access to all premium features while you test-drive the platform.
4. Under the Hood: Reliability & Timezones
Last but not least, we’ve squished some bugs and upgraded our systems to keep things running fast and secure.
- Accurate Timezones for Distant Events: We fixed a pesky bug where event times were saving based on your browser’s local timezone instead of the event’s actual location. No matter how far away your next gig is, the timezone will be recorded accurately!
- Smoother Account Creation: We squashed conflicts that occasionally popped up when trying to register an account with an email that previously existed in our system.
- System & Security Updates: We’ve bumped critical backend tools, including Google Cloud, our database, and encryption software to their latest, most secure versions to keep your data safe and sound.
- Improved Internal Monitoring: We’ve modernised our internal performance logging. This means if a page is loading slowly or there’s a potential outage, our team gets alerted instantly, allowing us to fix things faster than ever.
